Hamish Munro
Pairtree Intelligence
Co-Founder
Hamish is a 5th generation farmer from Central NSW and co-founder of Pairtree Intelligence. As a farmer, Hamish was frustrated and overwhelmed with the barrage of new agtech, data collection and digital services that his family farm was encountering.
After a failed succession planning, Hamish set about solving this issue of Data silos and how farmers could better benefit from their existing on-farm data. In 2018, Hamish Co-founded Pairtree Intelligence and since then has amassed over 130+ integrations across the agtech and digital ag space, allowing farmers to centralise all data sets and then view them in context with historic and forecast weather layers, livestock and grains markets and satellite imagery. This approach is the first step in decision support, where farmers can see all data about their operation in one place.
Pairtree was the first company in Australia to re-write its Terms and Conditions to reflect the NFF Voluntary Farm Data Code and Hamish sits on that steering committee.
