David Finlay is a mechanical design engineer and entrepreneur from Orange NSW. He established Trang Imagineering in 2003, a company specialising in mechanical product development and engineering design, servicing industries such as agriculture, mining, and construction. In 2018 he commenced an AgTech startup 'MPT' focused on improving crop establishment in broadacre agriculture. In his spare time, Dave operates a 1900 acre mixed farming operation in central NSW.
