Darren Wolchyn grew up on a farm in northern Alberta, Canada, and now resides in Australia as the Founder of Smart Paddock. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, which has provided him with diverse experience across various sectors, from dynamic start-ups to large corporate enterprises. During a visit to a friend's cattle farm, Darren was challenged to explore the possibility of GPS tracking cattle. Recognizing a gap in practical solutions, he channelled his engineering expertise and rural background into addressing this need, ultimately establishing Smart Paddock to innovate in agricultural technology.
